Sight Word Readers 

Here, you will be brought to a website where you can view all of the sight readers. Each week, I will update you all individually as to which sight reader I would like you child to be reading. You can download and print, or simply view on your device. Students have been practicing their sight word reading with these all year long, so it is nothing new to them, other than perhaps the format.

 

Raz Kids

Each student has their own login and password. These are located on the back of their login card which was sent home with the rest of their school things. If you are unable to find their login card, please e-mail me, and I will send you the login information. email: melanie.hawkins@lethsd.ab.ca. Many of these have comprehension that go along with the reading. This will help inform me on your child's understanding of the books they read. It is also important that they answer these questions with as little help as possible.

LearnAlberta

Check out LearnAlberta for a list of useful learning sites to check out. What's even more awesome, you don't need a username or password! Simply go to learnalberta.ca. Then click on the "Online Reference Centre" and you will be brought to a list of great websites you can check out. Here, you will find BookFlix, and PebbleGo. These are 2 great reading site for you to use.
